2007-08 New York Giants (10-6)

Super Bowl XLII

The 2007 New York Giants will always be remembered as the team that dethroned the undefeated (and possibly greatest team of all-time) New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII, but this team wasn’t a juggernaut by any means. The Giants finished 11-5 in the regular season and were the No. 5 seed in the NFC. New York would eventually reach Super Bowl XLII after defeating both Dallas and Green Bay on the road. In the Super Bowl, Eli Manning and his Giants went 17-14 after a game-winning drive and a helmet catch by David Tyree. A catch no true football fan will ever forget. The most ridiculous, awesome, unbelievable catch in NFL history. I know they are in last place here, but New York just wasn’t a great regular season team. They deserve this slot.
